About This Project

ISUZU Motors enlisted my services to design a logo for their Master Technician Programme. The aim was to seamlessly integrate the precision of their car manufacturing and their exceptional teaching programme with the sophistication of a classic mechanic.

The logo features a skilled technician who possesses both practical expertise and a strong academic background in theory and electronics. This hero-like figure is positioned within the oval of ISUZU’s original house logo, reminiscent of a 1950’s superhero, flanked by the company’s most significant vehicles – the truck and the DMAX-Pickup.

To maintain the original pencil outline’s dynamic movement and capture the essence of the initial design, I recreated the logo as a vector image. This process allowed me to sustain the continuity of dark rough lines merging into each other and ultimately bring the logo to life.
