ROZSIKA is the story of a Jewish girl who lived with her friend Hanna and their families in Berlin in the 1930s and got murdered by the Nazis. The story writes an imagined new life for them, asking: “What would their lives have been like, if there hadn’t been the Holocaust?” This is a way of giving the victims back an identity that is beyond being remembered as a victim but gives them – a life! That is a beautiful new way to cope with this sensitive part of our history and honor the millions of lives that were erased unlived.
